The U Zlateho Stromu Hotel is housed in a fully restored 14th century classical building. The small lobby is located on the first floor and offers a modest seating area. The 22 guestrooms vary in size due to the historical nature of the building, but all are beautifully appointed with antique furniture, artwork and rich fabrics. They are well maintained, as are the tiled en suite bathrooms. The ceilings in some of the rooms are painted with murals. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the ground floor and is typically furnished in a traditional Czech style. Some guests have commented about the noise levels at the hotel, since it houses a club in the basement and is situated on one of Prague’s busiest streets.
