The Julis Hotel is housed in a carefully preserved Art Nouveau building, originally built in 1926 by renowned Czech architect Pavel Janak. The ground floor is occupied by shops and a fitness club, but the lift immediately to the left of the entrance provides access to the first floor lobby. Medium sized and decorated in a neutral style, the lobby has a tiled floor, a light wood reception desk, a compact seating area, an Internet corner and complimentary international newspapers. The 72 apartment-style guestrooms have small kitchenettes (including a refrigerator, microwave oven and dishwasher.) All are designed in a modern Scandinavian style, featuring wooden floors and modern furniture. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the top floor, its glass roof providing plenty of light and excellent views of Prague.
