One of the best boutique properties in Prague, the 20-room Neruda hotel delights guests by combining its preserved 14th century exterior with modern elegance. It is located up a steep hill, however, so it might not be ideal for guests who're not keen on walking.
Named after the great writer and philosopher, Jan Neruda, who left his mark on Prague, the Neruda Hotel is a strong contender for the best boutique property in Malá Strana (Lesser Town). A 4-storey townhouse, it combines a high level of modern elegance with the original accents of its 14th century shell. The interior has been sensitively restored, with charming intimate nooks throughout and an inviting lobby. The 20 guestrooms are decorated in neutral tones, which create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The hotel also boasts a cool, well-furnished bar/restaurant with stone arches, which serves both international cuisine and regional specialities. It also offers various kinds of home made pastry, original hot chocolate and famous coffee.
