The Savoy Hotel is housed in a beautiful period building with a restrained Jugendstil façade. The circular marble lobby is medium-sized and leads onto a cosy library/lounge, complete with an open fireplace, comfortable wing backed chairs and a wide selection of books and newspapers. A harmonious maroon-and-mahogany colour scheme persists through the public spaces. The 59 guestrooms vary in size due to the age of the building, but most are at least medium sized. All are beautifully decorated in muted, pastel colours with elegant antique furniture. They are in excellent condition, as are the en suite marble bathrooms. The hotel’s unique restaurant, "Hradcany", is surrounded by a lush garden and has a retractable dome, so that guests can dine outside, weather permitting. It serves both international cuisine and regional specialities.
