The Waldstein Hotel is houses in a 4-storey Gothic building, which was converted in the 1890s and is now listed as an historical monument. The tiny lobby is traditionally appointed in dark wood and stone with heavily upholstered furniture and low-beamed ceilings. There is also a small seating area. The 13 guestrooms are splendidly decorated and furnished with original antique and historical furniture. There are painted ceilings dating from the 17th century preserved in some rooms, while in others you will find Gothic and Renaissance vaults. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the lovely Renaissance vaulted breakfast room, which features an original well.
