The hotel is located in the heart of Prague, on Wenceslas Square. The area is known as the city’s "Golden Crossroad," because of its desirability for shops, offices and residents.

The Julis Hotel is housed in a carefully preserved Art Nouveau building, originally built in 1926 by renowned Czech architect Pavel Janak. The ground floor is occupied by shops and a fitness club, but the lift immediately to the left of the entrance provides access to the first floor lobby. Medium sized and decorated in a neutral style, the lobby has a tiled floor, a light wood reception desk, a compact seating area, an Internet corner and complimentary international newspapers. The 72 guestrooms are disposed in an apartment style with small kitchenettes (including a refrigerator, microwave oven and dishwasher.) All are designed in a modern Scandinavian style, featuring wooden floors and modern furniture. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the top floor, its glass roof providing plenty of light and excellent views of Prague.
