The Best Western Meteor Plaza Hotel is housed in is a charming, old-world building with a Baroque facade dating back to 1307. Originally known as the "White Lion", it was a retreat for late evening guests who arrived after the town gates had closed. It has since hosted royalty and it became a much-frequented spot in the 19th century. The 73 spacious guestrooms feature neutral beige décor, which contrasts pleasingly with the patterned bed spreads and curtains. All the rooms are well maintained and fully equipped with a range of modern amenities. The hotel also boasts a relaxation and fitness centre, which features a solarium, whirlpool and sauna. Situated in an original 14th century cellar, the hotel’s restaurant serves a good range of Czech and international cuisine.
